Welcome back On-U.

How about re-assembling the On-U sound system again and going back on the road? I know it might be shamefully nostalgic but On-U deserve better than a half-hearted afternoon slot at the big chill.

I hope you realise how important you were back in the day. Honestly - I don't think the early DIY dance culture would have happened the way it did without On-U bringing people together at those gigs, especially in Manchester.

Adrian Sherwood's production was always years before its time and sounded like it came from outaspace even on our crappy record players or radios (living in Preston via On The Wire BBC Lancashire sunday afternoons) at the time.

BTW Bedward the flying preacher on myspace ... i'd forgotten about that track, it's very, very good to hear it again xxx

You also can find Bedward The Flying Preacher on a variety of media, Prince Far I's 8" release, Singers&Players' Staggering Heights and both Pay It All Back 1 & 2. I only own the version on PIAB2, but there might be others like the one on the 8" release

8"?

Common record media are made in 12"(inch) and 8" values. 12" are used for albums, compilations, EP's and 12" singles. 8" are for singles, pre-originally
There are some fairly rare ones made of 10" media. But I guess this is obsolete
